SnoopStopSnoopStop Privacy Policy

SnoopStop is a browser extension that blocks session-recording tools, rejects cookie popups, cuts third-party cookies and checks sites for safety problems. It does this work inside your browser. It has no account, no server and no analytics, and its developer receives no data about you or your browsing.
What is stored on your device
- Your settings and the list of sites where you turned SnoopStop off.
- Daily counters for the last seven days (how many trackers were cut, how many recording tools were blocked), together with the names of the sites where trackers were seen. This is what the weekly report shows.
- Countdown timers SnoopStop noticed on pages (page address and time remaining), so it can tell whether a timer restarts when you come back.
- What was found on each open tab. This is kept only until the browser closes.
All of this stays in the extension's own storage in your browser. You can erase the counters and remembered timers from the Features section of the popup, and removing the extension deletes everything.
What leaves your device
By default, nothing. Two things happen only if you choose them:
- Domain age check (off by default). If you turn it on, the domain name of the site you visit
is sent to
rdap.org, a public registry lookup service, to learn when the domain was registered. - Sharing a card. The image is drawn in your browser. If you press "Post on X", your browser opens x.com with the text of the card; nothing is posted until you confirm it there.
Why the extension needs its permissions
- Access to all sites: cookie popups, recording tools and fake addresses can appear on any site.
- declarativeNetRequest: to block recording tools, remove third-party cookies, remove tracking tags from links and add the Global Privacy Control signal.
- webRequest: to see which known trackers a page contacts, so the popup can list them. Requests are only observed, and only their domain names are used.
- scripting: to set the Global Privacy Control flag, stop unprompted notification requests and notice canvas fingerprinting, according to your settings.
- storage: to keep the items listed above.
Data sale and sharing
SnoopStop does not sell, transfer or share user data with anyone, and does not use it for advertising or creditworthiness.

- Son yedi günün günlük sayıları (kaç izleyici kesildi, kaç kayıt aracı engellendi) ve izleyici görülen sitelerin adları. Haftalık rapor bunlardan oluşur.
- Sayfalarda görülen geri sayım sayaçları (sayfa adresi ve kalan süre); sayacın geri döndüğünde baştan başlayıp başlamadığını anlamak için.
- Her açık sekmede bulunanlar. Bunlar yalnız tarayıcı kapanana kadar tutulur.
Bunların hepsi tarayıcındaki eklenti deposunda kalır. Sayıları ve hatırlanan sayaçları açılır penceredeki Özellikler bölümünden silebilirsin; eklentiyi kaldırmak her şeyi siler.
Cihazından çıkanlar
